If that's correct, that likely indicates
Check all of the fuses in the regular fuse box (in the engine compartment) that are related to the roof movement. Another thing to check (that is commonly malfunctions in these cars) is the Convertible Top Module. If this goes out, your top will have no movement and no sound.
62. My Cars. 1999 328i. The tonneau cover on a manual must be raised by hand. You pull the latch release and lift the tonneau about 4 inches (this is what I can't accomplish) then you reach under the cover and push n another latch, then the tonneau lifts fully up for access to the convertible top for raising by hand.

Convertible Top Won't Close Completely. Hi guys. I am new here. I have a problem with the convertible top. It comes off normally, no problem here. But when it closes, fins at the back of the top do not go to their places. Two large pins at the back do not go to their designated holes/grooves (pointed with red arrows). They are about an inch off.
