I am average height at 5' 10" and would like to get a bit more contact with the ground. I have seen the lower seat options which seem to gain about 1 cm, but don't see good suspension options or other tricks which may lower but not sacrifice ride quality etc.

I am looking for an ADV style bike for my somewhat vechically challenged wife (5'4") Currently top of the list is the 390 Adventure. With a seat height of 855mm it's too tall for her. KTM do a lowering kit that shaves 25mm.

The KTM 1290 Super Adventure S is the direct replacement for the 1190 Adventure, and seat height (from 890mm on the R to an adjustable 860/875 on the S). but KTM ergo seat solved the issue
